Hinz & Kunz Bar — Restaurant in Basel

Very rude staff and inflexible management. It was not so much that they denied us service ( there were 5 of us and asked to sit at a table for 4 ; it's cocktails, not 5 course dining, they should be more flexible), it's that they did so in a very abrupt and rude way. I was literally yelled at. I would not advise anyone to spend their money there. There are much nicer places in Basel with equally good, equally priced cocktails where staff can actually deliver good service. Clearly good service is not part of the work ethic...

Any bar can offer a large selection of gins. The difference is the knowledge of the bar staff. This place was excellent. I want to try gins I've never had before and ideally local craft gins. First gin recommended was Seven Sense which was so good that I went out the next day and bought a bottle to bring home.
