They serve the gelato with a flat tool rather that with a scoop. They do not have a standard in the amount of gelato served as each person serving serves a different size of scoop. I am fan of gelato and I know the value for money and this gelateria is over rated. I visited it due to its good rating but it was disappointing. If you insist in visiting, make sure you observe the people serving and choose the most experienced and most generous, otherwise grave disappointment awaits you after paying. I tried caramel, dark chocolate and mascarpone. All three flavours are rather flat, no taste, no exciting, my tongue was bored. In contrast, my husband tryed mango, peanut and cherry. All last three recommended, but the portion sizes are a big let down. Similarly, the place is in a rather dark corner with very few spaces to sit and if there is people smoking, there is no way you can eat your gelato without breathing someone else's killing nicotine and volatile chemicals. Awesome and very tasty ice cream made with love! But...very hidden. If you do not know the location of the gelateria you might end up in the coffe shop in the front and find yourself standing in line for quite awhile until you discover that you're in the wrong place for your icy cravings. A sign with an arrow or something colorful which would set you guys a bit apart from the coffe shop would help out people a lot who are not familiar with the...

Die Gelateria di Berna ist ohne Zweifel eine der besten Eisdielen, die ich je besucht habe. Von Anfang bis Ende war meine Erfahrung einfach unglaublich.

Zunächst einmal war das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben mir gerne Empfehlungen und beantworteten geduldig alle meine Fragen. Als ich mich schließlich für ein Eis entschieden hatte, war ich überwältigt von der unglaublichen Auswahl an Aromen und Geschmacksrichtungen.

Als ich mein Eis schließlich probierte, war ich sprachlos. Es war das cremigste, köstlichste Eis, das ich je gegessen hatte. Ich konnte wirklich den Unterschied zu anderen Eisdielen schmecken, die ich in der Vergangenheit besucht hatte. Die Zutaten waren frisch und von höchster Qualität, und man konnte einfach sagen, dass das Eis mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt hergestellt wurde.

Die Atmosphäre in der Gelateria di Berna war auch wunderschön. Es war sehr gemütlich und einladend, mit einer entspannten und angenehmen Atmosphäre. Ich genoss es, meine Kugel Eis draußen auf der Terrasse zu genießen und das Leben um mich herum zu beobachten.
