Chilled vibe, great coffee, and creative menu

Noy is one of my favorite spots in Bern for coffee and a relaxed hangout. The quality of their coffee is top-notch I had a flat white and it was smooth, rich, and made just right. They’ve got a ton of options if you’re into trying different drinks too like cold brew, espresso tonic, and even coffee-based cocktails, which is pretty unique.

The food is light but creative. I tried one of the toasts (the Mediterranean Sunrise with burrata sooo good) and also the Matcha Dream bowl. Everything was super fresh, nicely presented, and not your average café fare.

The place itself is cozy, modern, and has a really welcoming feel. Staff were friendly and you can tell there’s attention to detail here, both in the menu and the service. Also really appreciate their focus on sustainability even their water contributes to a good cause.

I usually come by this café quite often and always order an iced vanilla matcha. Since my girlfriend was with me this time, I wanted to show her this cool place. Unfortunately, they served our drinks hot even though I clearly ordered them iced. When I pointed it out, they refused to make me a new one unless I paid again. Einfach nur eine grosse Enttäuschung. Obwohl wir per Mail eine Bestätigung der Reservation erhalten hatten, wusste niemand Bescheid. Keine freundliche Begrüssung, wir fühlten uns überhaupt nicht willkommen. Der Tisch war dreckig und wurde erst auf Anfrage hin geputzt. Das Lokal war nicht voll, trotzdem mussten wir eine halbe Stunde warten, bis wir endlich die Bestellung aufgeben konnten. Auf die Frage hin, wie gross die Bowls seien, hiess es 'gross'. Wie gross? Einfach 'gross'. Ok. Als die Bowls dann eine weitere halbe Stunde später an den immer noch klebrigen Tisch gebracht wurden, sahen wir uns mit grossen Augen an. Die Schalen waren sehr klein und der 'Exotic Bowl' nur zur Hälfte gefüllt. Von den vielversprechenden 'seasonal fruits' hat es gerade mal für ein paar Scheiben Banane im 'Classic Bowl' gereicht. Der 'Greek Toast' bestand aus zwei dünnen Scheiben luftigem Brot, die ebenso sparsam belegt waren. Dazu ein Tee namens 'Birnentraum'. Keine Mengenangabe im Menu, kein Teebeutel, kein Siebeinsatz oder Deckel, nichts. Undefinierbar. Preis-Leistung stimmt hier definitiv nicht. Der Kaffee war ok, aber das wars dann auch schon.
