My husband and I went here for dinner during our stay in Lugano and did the 5-course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was a great way to sample a lot of food and get to know their wines for the first time. The sommelier and server were both very friendly and professional, and the space is modern, clean, and inviting – located atop a hill with a spectacular view. The food was fun & playful, and was almost too pretty to eat. The crispy piglet was a standout, as was the cheese plate at the end of the meal (which the sommelier was all too generous to offer us extra of as we sipped our wine). To end the meal, my husband opted for their Ratafià della Nonna instead of grappa and we ended up leaving with two bottles; huge fan. Our wedding celebration at Moncucchetto could not have been nicer. The team around David and Andrea went out of their way for weeks in advance to fulfil any of our wishes and requirements for the party. They were helpful, professional and flexible during the preparations and the atmosphere on the evening was so relaxed and welcoming for adults and kids that everyone felt right at home.
