A gem in the heart of Lugano. My wife and I were looking for at least a decent Halal restaurant in our first day here and couldn't find one. The second day we found this place by chance and turned out to be the best restaurant we went to in a while. The food was great and super tasty. We had shawerma sandwichs, fatoush and hummus. All items were super tasty, fattoush was fresh and very refreshing. Abir, the restaurant manager, was super friendly and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations and was super kind to adjust the items to what we like (adjusted the portions and changed an entire item completely to be suitable for our daughter). I was staying in Lugano when I discovered this amazing Lebanese restaurant just near my hotel. After two weeks in Italy and Switzerland, I was tired of Italian food (except pizza!) and craving something different. The moment I saw Casa Libanese, I knew I had to try it. I went in for breakfast, probably too early since they were still preparing, but the two gentlemen there were incredibly kind. I requested something quick, and they asked me to wait just 20 minutes. They then served me the most delicious chicken shawarma—after 15 days of unsatisfying meals, it felt like heaven! The taste was absolutely fantastic, and the place was neat and clean.
