I recently had the opportunity to visit the best restaurant in Lugano, and I must say, it was truly an exceptional dining experience. From the moment I walked through the door, the staff paid close attention to my allergies, ensuring that my meal would be safe and enjoyable.

The food was not only delicious, but it was also of exceptional quality. Each dish was carefully prepared using fresh and locally sourced ingredients, resulting in a symphony of flavors that tantalized my taste buds. The attention to detail was evident in every bite, and I couldn't help but savor each morsel.

The restaurant's location was an added bonus. It sits right on the edge of Lake Lugano, offering stunning views of the shimmering waters. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect spot for a romantic meal or a special occasion.

But what truly set this restaurant apart was the staff's exceptional service. The staff was not only polite but also professional, ensuring that all my needs were met throughout the meal. They were knowledgeable about the menu and recommended dishes that perfectly aligned with my preferences and dietary restrictions.

I visited the place with my mum (75) on a Wednesday night (18-20h) in November '22. Place serves Italian dishes (antipasti, pasta, risotto, fish, meat, pizza) with reasonable prices (for Switzerland). Vegetarian but no vegan options available.

We had two different types of vegetarian risotto (although fish sauce may be considered non-vegetarian, 21.- each) and half a litre of red wine (37.50). Both food and were delicious. Unfortunately, the risotto was served on a large plate as a very thin layer and hence got cold very quickly.

Staff was very young and, apart from one girl, did not make us feel welcome. While not rude, but at least unfriendly.

Besides the spectacular views onto the lake Lugano and the surrounding mountains through big windows, the interior is quite nice. Unfortunately the acoustic is catastrophic and it was very loud and we had difficulty to understand each other while talking. Also, staff was rearranging chairs and tables in very noisy way. I had very bad experience in this restaurant. I having my Easter dinner there. The manager give me Easter Menu and i did ask only Easter memu for order? I prefer ala cart. He answer YES . The menu was few choice only (Salmon or Lamb). When go to the seat, a lady serve us for the same menu. I saw other guest was having pizza, so i m think may be they close order for pizza. With no choice Salmon & Lamb to order. After finish my dish, i found most of the customer just enter they able to order ala cart. I call the lady and ask why others customer can order from ala cart. First she answer ala cart can order all the time. Then why not for us? She said don't know, need to ask the manager. The manager come to一 us, he explain is mis communication, but i m sure there is no misunderstand, because we had proper and ask twice can we order ala cart.
