Ristorante Schnitzy — Restaurant in Circolo di Vezia

This is not a review of the food in the restaurant, it is about cognitive bias as I was refused to eat at this restaurant.

I was staying very close to the restaurant Schnitzy, and had passed on my way from the train station, as well as when I took a walk to the city centre, I had checked out the menu and also checked great reviews.

After touring the city, my wife of Indian origin and myself decide we would have our dinner at Schnitzy, we arrived at the Schnitzy at 17:30 to learn they open at 18:00 so we waited it out. At 18:05 we approach the restaurant and was told that they was full tonight, so when asked about reservation I was told it was not needed, they were full tonight.

Me and my wife went to the train station and had our dinner, on the way back to were we stayed, we past Schnitzy around 19:30 and the restaurant was empty except for a few people standing in the bar. This meant from my perspective that we could have been let in, have our dinner and enjoy the food that was raved about in the reviews.

Stasera ho avuto il piacere di cenare presso “Schnitlze di Massagno”, un locale accogliente situato nel tranquillo quartiere di Massagno, attualmente in rifacimento. Nonostante i lavori in corso, il ristorante mantiene un’atmosfera classica e affascinante, offrendo un’oasi di tranquillità in mezzo al trambusto del quartiere in rinnovamento. Un punto a favore è la comodità dell’autosilo proprio di fronte al ristorante, che rende l’accesso facile e senza stress.

Il piatto principale della serata è stato il Cordon Bleu, e posso dire senza esitazione che è stato uno dei migliori che abbia mai assaggiato. La crosta era perfettamente dorata e croccante, avvolgendo un ripieno di prosciutto e formaggio di alta qualità, sciolto alla perfezione. La carne era incredibilmente tenera e succosa, mostrando l’attenzione ai dettagli nella preparazione del piatto.

Per accompagnare il Cordon Bleu, ho scelto un contorno di patate al forno e un’insalata mista. Le patate erano croccanti all’esterno e morbide all’interno, condite con le giuste spezie che ne esaltavano il sapore. L’insalata, fresca e croccante, offriva una piacevole varietà di verdure di stagione, perfettamente condite.

Il servizio è stato un altro punto forte della serata. Il personale era estremamente cordiale e attento, sempre disponibile a fornire consigli e a rispondere a qualsiasi domanda. In particolare, ho apprezzato i suggerimenti sui vini, che hanno completato l’esperienza gastronomica in modo eccellente.

In conclusione, “Schnitlze di Massagno” è un ristorante che consiglio vivamente a chiunque cerchi un’ottima cena in un ambiente piacevole. La qualità del cibo e il servizio impeccabile rendono questo locale una scelta perfetta per una serata speciale. Non vedo l’ora di tornarci e provare altre prelibatezze del menu. The food was just amazing, i maybe had the most tender meat that i ever ate in my whole life. It was honestly just melting in my mouth. I would highly recommend this place, the ambiance is fantastic, amazing service (the chef came himself to check up on us and made sure that everything was perfect, and this is something that i extremly appreciate when eating out).
