Auberge Petit Paradis — Restaurant in Crans-Montana

This is the best dining experiences I’ve had in Switzerland! The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were friendly and kind.

I ordered the cheese fondue and the beef hotpot — both were amazing. The cheese in the fondue was rich, aromatic, and perfectly melted. The potatoes and bread served with it were warm, soft, and so satisfying. The beef in the hotpot was incredibly tender, flavorful, and just melted in the mouth.

We also had the steak, which came sizzling on a hot iron plate — it was juicy, perfectly cooked, and the sauce was just divine. Even the vegetables on the side were fresh and tasty. The portion sizes were very generous too!

And I can’t forget the staff — they were some of the kindest and most fun people I’ve met on this trip! So friendly, warm, and welcoming. You can really feel their joy and care in both the food and the service.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Highly, highly recommend...

We rented the appartement that fits up to 8 people; lots of space & charm, well equipped kitchen (and no problem to get extra kit from the restaurant downstairs - e.g. a cheese fondue set) and a very large terrace facing the valley with sun until mid afternoon. The only/small negative would be that the beds are not double beds but single ones put together. Crans-Montana via bus/funiculaire just a short walk away or by car. Wonderfull trails for walking just outside the hotel. Our dog was welcome too and she had a blast! In summary: highly recommended for a large family or...

We enjoyed this restaurant for many years but we will not return. A wrong salad order, a medium steak cooked raw, sautéed fish was fried, a veal dish with sauce was mostly sauce and little meat, a small piece of stainless scouring pad in my potatoes, a waiter wearing his mask hanging below his nose, a diet sprite instead of a sprite and on top of all this the high prices did not match the quality or portion size of food.
