Burger Lounge — Restaurant in Crans-Montana

The restaurant requires to book first, in order to eat there. The first time my friends and I arrive there, we were asked book a table so we could eat there. The chef was in front of us and he was extremely rude towards guests. When calling to book a reservation, I was automated in a voice incall: “write an email to make a reservation”.

After finally, trying burger lounge. I would like to point out, the burgers are well made specially, the pesto burger or the bacon and cheese(it has avocado). The service is standard, the fries are good though wouldn’t say the best. Haven’t tried their dessert. Is worth going? We visited this place for a casual meal during a recent trip to play golf in Crans. On arriving I thought that we were in the wrong place as upstairs if quite a nice looking formal restaurant. We were greeted by the waiter and asked if we wanted the restaurant or Burger lounge, he was freindly and polite and out us at ease straight away.

Downstairs was great, a good vibe from being quite busy, the staff were excellent, the beer was good and the burgers, whilst simple were freshly made, juciy and delicious. Our meal was great value and we all enjoyed the experience. We would highly...

Positive: the burgers and fries are delicious. Negatives: I know it’s in Switzerland (and in Crans), but this place is taking the national/local rip-off to extreme levels by charging customers 6 CHF for fries….and then serving you hardly any fries (I counted 10). And get this…you get charged 1 CHF for a tiny cup of ketchup (or whatever condiment you ask for). Also, the burger comes wrapped loosely in a baking sheet and is really difficult and messy to eat, no cutlery is provided, and it’s served on a tiny broken piece of...
