Restaurant Bolgen Plaza — Restaurant in Davos

Hi, I just wanted to share some feedback from the closing night at Bolgen Plaza. We were having a great time and decided to ask the DJ if it was possible to request a song. However, the response we received was quite rude. The DJ told us that he wouldn’t take song requests from us, simply based on the fact that we were the ones asking.

It felt unnecessarily dismissive and left us with a negative impression, especially since we were just trying to contribute to the good atmosphere. We understand if requests aren’t always possible, but a more respectful response would have made a big difference.

Bolgen Plaza is a vibrant and lively spot located directly at the base of the Jakobshorn mountain, right next to the ski lifts and train station. I visited during the winter season and found it to be the perfect place for a relaxed après-ski lunch. The large outdoor terrace is ideal for enjoying the sun while overlooking the ski slopes. I ordered a classic Swiss sausage with fries — simple but tasty, served quickly despite the busy lunchtime crowd. Über Mittag jeweils etwas voll. Nahe beim Skigebiet. Eigentlich optimal zum Mittagessen. Leider hatte ich bei meinem ersten Besuch (war auch der letzte) einen Platz von dem aus ich in die Küche sehen konnte. Ich sitze noch gerne so, das ich in die Küche sehen kann. Leider war das was ich sah furchtbar, und ich würde dort niemals essen. Das Servicepersonal hat jeweils die abgeräumten Teller mit blosen Händen von den Essensresten, Servietten und Besteck befreit und ordentlich in die weissen Kübel versorgt. Damitt kan ich ja noch leben, dass Personal hantiert ja auch mit dem Geld und das ist oft auch etwas schmutzig. Aber danach sah ich, dass die gleichen Personen Die Suppen und das Brot zusammengestelt haben. Dabei haben sie die Brotscheiben auch mit den nakten Händen angefasst. Mich hat dies wirklich angeekelt. Da war es gar nicht mehr so schlimm, das ein Hamburger zurück gekommen ist, und das Personal diesen von Hand zurück auf das Chromstahlgestell gelegt haben, und in ca. 5 Minuten später wieder auf einen neuen Teller mit Pommes. Irgend jemand hat dann wohl einen lauwarmen Hamburger mit heissen...
