Definitely would not recommend this place. Unreliable and disappointing. Last week we were there (same day of the week same amount of people around) it was lovely and for that we booked this week for a small family brunch (5adults) as we had loved the food and menu to celebrate my kids bday (just as a family). Let me tell you, we will not be back again. Everything was wrong today - clearly short on staff but not admitting or apologizing for it, 5 people right next to us arrived after and were taken orders and served before us somehow. Enormous time to even bring menus - in fact I tried to get them myself at some point and was told by the useless man at the bar that he would bring it out (never did) the kind people next to us ended sharing theirs with us. Tried to get waters for us while waiting as only half of drinks had arrived after ages waiting (that last week were brought instantly after ordering) useless man inside says he’ll bring them, he doesn’t, an hour later he sent them out in the middle of other things. We had a booking at 12:30 by 14:05 we didn’t have food yet - yet the other 5 people who arrived after us had food and we’re about to leave. We made the remark about being taken after, about food taking a lot of time that some of us actually had a train to catch… still no justification/apology, everything took forever, when food came was NOT with quality that we had the week before, burned, cold, some hairs found in one of the plates, not the same portions or care on plate preparing, pancakes half of height and no maple syrup (well maybe the tiny drop to pretend there was but otherwise super dry and smaller), scrambled eggs not at all the same level/quality… everything came so late that 3 of us had to put food in take away box as soon as it arrived - WHAT GIGANTIC DISAPPOINTMENT IT WAS THE WHOLE TIME WE WERE THERE. My husband kept wanting to just leave the table as frustrated he was with the lack of care/service/food/waste of time - not even excusing themselves, the guy behind the counter thought the world of himself but didn’t do much, 2 other girls were nicer trying their best but at some point we actually saw an empty kitchen so maybe the girls were serving and cooking ? I don’t know what was going on but literally ruined our family bday brunch. If that wasn’t enough. Even payment was a problem, back and forth with confusion of some sort, charged my husbands card, then tried to print a reimbursement paper as if payment didn’t go through (which it did because we could see it in the app so careful about that!), after much discussion finally able to just print the proof of payment but we still had to ask (as it wasn’t offered to us) for the bill to actually justify the price.. only then the useless man says “sorry about that” (now this person who never ever came out to help around and cover table needs - just stands behind counter and even when you try to get menus or waters by yourself he makes it difficult) - the only thing we could say was never coming back again. It ruined our day, made us feel so bad bringing our family members who had never come to the restaurant before. All we could tell them was it’s like a different restaurant from a week ago but there’s not even an explanation, an apology nothing. Just carry on without a care. Unacceptable.

Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, specially if you’re inviting anyone or if you expect to have a life after a brunch (rather than die there while you wait for anything).

It’s not really a 4-star, more like a 3.5 stars. The location of the place is really good and had a beautiful view of the lake and the Jet d’Eau. The atmosphere is that of any regular brunch place you’d find in any city, nothing special or terrible.

We were 4 and ordered a range of things. We waited about 35 minutes for the food, which is a bit too long in my views. All my friends were very pleased with their meal: the hungry greek, eggs Benedict and the red pig burger. I went for the Swiss egg-pot and it was a huge disappointment. It was in the “wow” part of the menu but it failed miserably at that simple task. The dish was basically 80% potatoes, 5% sausages, 5% egg and 10% mushroom. Basically it had only one egg on top, and 6 mini (tiny actually) sausages. For 32fr, this was inexplicably underwhelming. When i complained, the staff said that “yeah, its the worst dish on the menu”. Not sure this made me feel better

Would I go back? Probably not. But would I tell my friends not to go? No. It’s a nice enough place and its open...

My visit to this breakfast restaurant was an absolute disaster. From the moment I walked in, the staff’s unwelcoming attitude set the tone for a miserable dining experience. The biggest issue, however, was Loralie. Every time I asked for something, she responded with unnecessary hostility, making the entire interaction uncomfortable.

To make matters worse, her hygiene was appalling. She had such a strong, unbearable odor that it made everyone at our table feel physically ill. It was shocking and completely unacceptable for someone working in the food industry to have such poor personal cleanliness.

The food itself was another letdown—cold, flavorless, and overpriced. But honestly, the subpar service completely overshadowed any disappointment with the meal. This place is a nightmare from start to finish.
