What a delightful surprise to find such an authentic Persian restaurant right here in Geneva! Pasargades is a true gem—run by a lovely and welcoming family that instantly made me feel like I was stepping into a relative’s home for dinner. The atmosphere is cozy and unpretentious, and the hospitality is heartfelt.

The food? Absolutely delicious and unmistakably homemade. Every dish had that comforting, “made-with-love” quality that you can only find in real family kitchens. From the perfectly spiced stews to the fragrant rice and fresh herbs, everything tasted genuine and full of flavor.

I especially recommend trying their Persian yogurt drink, “dough”—refreshing and perfectly balanced. And don’t miss out on their freshly baked bread, which was warm, soft, and an ideal pairing with everything on the menu.

The service was excellent—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. You can tell the family takes pride in both the food and the experience they offer.

My family & I are visiting Geneva and we absolutely love Persian food - coming from Atlanta, Georgia - home of the world-renowned “Rumi’s Kitchen” that has been named as one of the best Persian restaurants in the United States.

The meat here is halal & that is why we chose to eat here. The quality of the food, the exquisite preparation & presentation of the food, and the above excellent service and care we received from our server, Kourosh, makes me want to come back to Geneva for this sole reason. Aside from the excellent taste & service we received, the prices of the food at this restaurant are EXTREMELY reasonable and affordable, compared to a lot of the other restaurants in this area.

The individuals that run this restaurant are definitely doing a lot of things right & are very respectful and generous towards their customers. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very clean and looks absolutely stunning on the inside.

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Geneva. As a person with high standards and expectations of food, I found this restaurant quite amazing.you can enjoy high quality foods with variety that you can not find anywhere else in Switzerland. This restaurant is the place that I am going once at least every month. Best place if you have some guests, you can host them with the delicious food and amazing experiences. The scent of rice combined with Iranian saffron is admirable. Their Iranian chef knows how to cook the best of any dishes in the menu. I recommend try it especially the baghali polo and mahiche!
