I recently dined at GAYA and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere is fairly standard—nothing particularly memorable—but what stood out immediately was the strong smell of oil in the air. Unfortunately, it lingered on our clothes long after the meal, which detracted from the overall comfort of the evening.
On the positive side, the food quality was good and well-prepared. However, the pricing felt disproportionate to the quality offered. For the cost, I expected a more refined culinary experience or at least a more pleasant dining environment.
That said, the staff were genuinely lovely—courteous, attentive, and very professional throughout. Their warmth and politeness added a much-needed touch of hospitality to the evening.

To the Restaurant: When the guy serving us spilled a drink on my guests dress he started to argue that it wasn't him but her who spilled it. At the end of the meal he brought the same drink that was spilled for her to drink. However by that time we were already about to go and didn't have use for it anymore. On the way out I told the staff that I was disappointed in how they handled it. Again the guy argued and said that we are wrong basically saying we are liers. I told them what I would have expected and hope they'll handle it better for the next guest. Bot sure yet if I'll send them the bill for the cleaning...

My issues in general:
Portions to price was some of the worst ive seen in Geneva. For example the mix vegetables for grilling is CHF19.
The shrimp in the seafood bbq mix plate was not cleaned (spine was black).
They placed a sad oven sheet paper on top of the grill which sadly prevented any charring or grill flavors to transfer to the proteins. It all stayed on the paper as you can see in the photo. Perhaps they do this to make cleaning easier at the detriment of the grilling experience.
