Hanae — Restaurant in Geneva

Hanae is a “pepite” how they say in French, a hidden gem really close to the lake. The team is fantastic, Hanae always welcoming you with a big smile, which makes the ambient extremely nice! The food is REAL Spanish food! As a Spaniard I can tell you that I feel at HOME. Everything is cooked by the wonderful Spanish chefs (Jenny and Kevin) and their croquetas de jamón are to die for! I always have to order the “fritura” and the “patatas bravas”, and the sauces that are served with… omg, love them! And of course, what can I say about the jamón! Just soooo good!!! But I really recommend you to try some of the “tapas of the moment”, is it always great to discover the new ones! And don’t forget to leave space for some deserts! Extremely overpriced for very limited quantity of food, especially for tabla of meat and cheese. Shocked to see 6 pieces of meat on a medium sized tabla… I’ve never seen such a stingy amount of charcuterie before but welcome to Geneva. Ate here without a reservation. Was very busy at the time so we couldn’t be accommodated at the outside tables but they were happy to make room for us inside. We had the patatas bravas, albondigas and croquetas de jamón which were all delicious. So much so that we ordered seconds of the patatas and albondigas. The service was excellent.
