It was our last night on Geneva and the pan-ultimate night of our 12 day trip to the French Alps and we were hungry and a bit tired of the brassiere food. We parked not far from the famous lake Geneva water jet when my sister noticed this place. She asked if there had a table for 7 and they pulled a table from inside to make a big one enough for us (everyone was sitting outside). The waiter was great. He explained everything, was willing to make changes to dishes and became best friend with my 10 y/o nephew. The food was absolutely wonderful. We are used to Middle Eastern food and know how it should taste. Getting almost the same taste and texture in Geneva is something I wasn't expecting. I recommend to try the mezze taste menu for 4 people. You can try almost all the mezze dishes in one mael. If I ever return to Geneva, I'm definitely...

We had a phenomenal meal here one Monday night. The food was richly flavoured, savoury, and nuanced. The service was very friendly and fast. The hot pita balloons straight from the oven were a special surprise. We loved the vegetarian mezze options, the imam bayildi! The grilled artichoke! The excellent fattoush! I also loved the crispy toasted bread and meat lahmacun! We tried a white Lebanese wine, which was delightfully floral and light, complemented our meal perfectly and was just the thing to drink on a hot Geneva evening. We stayed way too late talking and yet the staff was generous and patient with us. I recommend this restaurant to everyone and only wish that I could be in Geneva more frequently to eat...

For our first night staying in Geneva my boyfriend and I needed to find somewhere to eat. We stumbled across ChefMezze and had one of the best meals we have ever had! We are vegetarians and we chose the meal for two with 3 cold and 2 hot dishes. The artichoke with almond flakes (I forget the name) was a real standout dish - so flavoursome! I know a bit of French which helped as I don't think the staff speak much English. The service was fine, the food came out quite quickly but it took a while when we asked for the bill so we went to the counter to pay. Overall it was one of the best meals we had on our holiday and we would thoroughly recommend it to anyone, especially...

An up and down experience. This place is a super local spot so the service staff barely spoke English and the menu was in French (not a gripe, just for awareness). The food was very average. The chicken kebabs were heavily under seasoned but the shrimp dish was DELICIOUS. The beyruti hummus was meh but the garlic sauce was super good. The fattoush salad was not a fattoush salad, just overdressed vegetables with a little pita. The place was super busy and that made it hard to get the servers attention and the language barrier made it harder. I would probably only suggest the shrimp dish here, everything else was subpar. Though the fresh pita was a nice touch!
