Food was excellent. However, there were two issues we experienced with the service.
The staff told us upfront that they charged 5 CHF per person for water. I appreciate the upfront notice to avoid confusion. But on the final bill, we were charged 6 CHF for water. It is only 1 CHF… but on principle, this is not honest. Maybe it was a honest mistake in communication of information from the staff.
The second issue was that we paid by credit card and the staff selected the choice of currency for us instead of allowing us to select which currency would be charged to our credit card. Although its know for its Cordonbleu and Schnitzel i had a some amazing bone marrow and then a fillet that was cookwd sous vide. They also have a small wine cellar with a great selection of wines, adding to the experience.
Great spot. I’ll...
