Wolf Burger & Steak Bar — Restaurant in Lucerne

this place maybe looks like any average burger restaurant, but you would be surprised!

this is on of the best burgers we've tried. the meat was tender and juicy, the ingredients fresh and delicious and the buns were incredible, truly great. soft, yet not too soft, favourful, yet not overpowering, a great compliment to the rest of the burger.

we all ordered similar burgers (i can't remember any of the names but one) thr master (chersburger with 3 patties) combined meat weight of 540g a double cheesburger, a regular cheese burger, a chicken burger and the regular vegetarian option.

everyone liked their burgers very much. 'the master' was quite menacing and stood tall among the others, yet i'd compare the eating experience and taste to the double cheesburger. the both couldn't really be consumed by hand and had to be cut into several small pieces. the other three burgers (with just a singular patty) were consumed by hand and that eas no issue.

we also all ordered a side dish, most of them being fries. they tastes good, yet nothing special compared to the burgers. one of usbgot the "chilly fries" which were just fries with a bit of stronger/ 'spicier' seasoning. i say spicy in quotes because they had no kick and weren't really spicy at all. also I ordered the onion rings, everyone got to try, as I also was the one that ordered the master burger and my plate was quite full as one might expect haha. everyone LOVED the onion rings. even my sister, who usually dislikes onions seems that she kinda liked them.

I can see why so many people said a reservation is needed but my husband and I decided to try our luck anyway. We arrived at 5.35pm on a Tuesday, shortly after they started dinner service and it was alright. There were quite a few tables. By the time we left though (6.30pm), the place was filled!

The food is great. Hub had a glass of red wine and I had limone sparkling water and we had “The Taster” which was a sharing platter for 2. It was way too much food for the 2 of us. Back home in Singapore, 2 of us would have shared the burger and a side and that’s it.

There was a burger, steak, bacon, onion rings and fries. I’m not a big fan of onion rings but I liked theirs - it was crispy and not too strong on the onion taste.

Our favorite was the steak. It was tender with an amazing buffalo sauce (it wasn’t very spicy).

In the end we left most of the fries, bacon and parts of the burger bun untouched. It was a great meal nonetheless. Love the service here so we left some tips on the table too.

Order for delivery on 3 march after 8 pm by my wife Vittoria. Last night the wolf left us disappointed again this keep happening during the last 3 months. We order food everyweek once or twice from wolf restaurant but the food standard charge recently. My wife got the fresh burger and I get the classic one. The chips box is half full and so so salty, and the burger was so yet with the sauce look like a sponge of water, a layer of sauce in the bottom of the burger box. The classic burger they did a mistake I got my burger with slice onions, bacon and cheese. I always choose classic because I don't eat bacon and onion so I left with entry stomach after spend so much money. 3 weeks ago I went collected our food after 9 pm your a waitress treat me like a dog, she is new I never saw here before when I arrived I was waiting in the door corridor she saw me asked loud what you doing here ok stand beside the apartment entrance so loud people inside the restaurant stop eat and turn look at me.
