We visited the show today (11.12.2022) in KKL. The theater starts with the people welcoming you in. Sadly that in this case it was not exactly a welcome. There were two people standing at the doors and the lady “greeted us” by saying „you are seriously late“ (we had still 4 minutes before the show, and it was not our intention, we left for the theater 90 minutes in advance). We are a serous concert and Theater goes but have never experienced anything like that before. When we were entering the lift she was making faces and said to her male colleague that we were “scheissspät“. We have paid for the concert, that was supposed to be a birthday treat. We did not pay for the lecture, we also did not pay for the opinion, arrogance and the attitude of that “lady”. By leaving I wanted to ask her colleague to give me her name, but we decided not to ruin the evening even more. Reading the reviews, I couldn’t help but noticed that it is not the first and only accident with rude and unfriendly customer attitude. Now to the building. The hall inside, in spite being modern, looks like an old school gym. Maybe for some it would be appealing, but for me personally it lacked the details and „Theater vibe“. Sound is good but the seating arrangements are unsuccessful, if you want to buy the tickets, better be in the central part. We were unlucky to buy the tickets at the 4 floor, balcony. First part I was dead with panic because it feels crazily unsafe. And again by reading the comments, I saw that I am not the only one to have the same emotions about those seats. To be fair, KKL in reply to one of the comments raising the safety issues reassured that it passed safety standards but oh, god, it is still pretty scary. Now to the view. It is very disrespectful to sell the tickets to those places, as the visitor should have a possibility to see and have a view from every seat: Somewher better, somewhere worse (but the whole stage). If you stretch your neck to the side like a giraffe, you would see something. If you are a practicing yoga instructor, you would bend a bit more and see the 50%_60 % of the stage. The idea is to come and enjoy, relax and feel the magic of the sound. To feel COMFORTABLE. I surely did not feel myself that way tonight. As for the show, Glen Miller Ochestra I would rate 2,5 out of 5.

It is supposed to be one of the best concert halls in the world and have the best acoustic. For once, it is giant. Yes, you can hear well even if you're hanging off the light fixture on the last floor. However, my experience was not good. I'm not sure it's good idea trying to make halls bigger and bigger. Sitting on the level 4 gives you the experience of a bird trying to see a concert from the top of the 7-story building, but without due protection. Many people suffer from vertigo, as I am, and that was very upsetting and not pleasant. Acousticwise I wasn't happy either: the resulting sound seemed to be "packaged" in a way, didn't sound real, like it was doctored in some way. The attack of the sound was completely missing (It was a Symphony). The materials inside the hall itself are cold and industrial... May be we should go back to the good old smaller concert halls and wood paneling? Just saying....

Beautiful, historic and atomospheric. Surrounded by stunning mountain ranges, Lucerne sits on the shores of enormous natural lakes and is a gateway from which to explore the many areas of outstanding natural beauty. Just a 90 minute train ride from Zurich Airport, Lucerne offers an authentic Swiss experience with its many restaurants and bars and places to visit. Wether it’s a cable car to the summit of Mt Pilatus or a cog wheel train up Mt Rigi, a paddle steamer ride on Lake Lucerne or a concert in the amazingly designed concert hall. You will never forget the memories you made in Lucerne.

Travelled to the KKL Lucerne to see Jack Savoretti - who was magnificent. Staff were helpful, and the venue was beautiful, fabulous acoustics. "Slightly" aggrieved that my front row seats became row 3 when rows A&B were added after the show had been re-arranged for the 3rd time. (2.5 years since tickets went on sale originally). Signage could be better as it was a pure fluke we found the right door. Great venue, perfectly located next to the train station. 3 stars for seating change and signage, but bumped up to 5 purely because of Jack.

We were here for a concert from Olafur Arnalds. Really a huge auditorium right next to the train station and the ferry harbour. The view is really awesome that you see from the front. There are restaurants and bar in the facility above with amazing views, so you can grab your glass of wine or bier before your concert. The staff is really nice and helpful. The seats are very comfortable and the overall experience was really good. It was an incredible evening at KKL Luzern. We would love to come back again.

We came to watch 'pirates of the caribbean'. W o w. The lobby lets you guess the ambiance you are about to experience. Overwhelming auditorium - 5 galleries (we were seated on the 1st) - amazing views from nearly all seats. Seats are turned forward towards the orchestra (but are slightly uncomfortable). The movie & the musical accents were incredible. We were absolutely thrilled and could not imagine it any better. Thanks KKL for the amazing experience!
