LUIGIA Pizzeria Morges — Restaurant in Morges

First experience: I order a pizza online and go to the restaurant to pick it up… but nothing appears in the cash register system. I end up ordering again at the counter and waiting 20 minutes. Fair enough.

Second experience: We order at the restaurant’s self-service kiosks. The order doesn’t go through. We try again… still nothing. In the end, we order directly at the counter. A total disaster. For the exact same pizzas, the price is 10 to 15% higher. The manager says nothing and simply charges us. When we bring it up and insist, he offers us a dessert. He also assures us that the 100.- charged at the kiosk will be automatically refunded. Except it wasn’t. I had to go back to the restaurant with proof of payment to get my money back. No goodwill gesture, just an explanation: the kiosks aren’t fully functional yet…

Aside from that, the setting is nice, and the food is good. I’ll let you judge how you would have reacted...

The space looks great for what it is a “faster” food place. I pre ordered pizzas from the website and it was overlooked so I had to wait for my pizzas to be made. That was fine, it was fast. As for the pizzas…. Not good. Not the Luigia standard I’ve come to expect. It tasted burnt so I couldn’t tell if they use the same dough as Nyon and Lausanne. I’m really not sure but usually that’s my favorite part of Luigia pizza. Add more cheese!! Or have the option of adding more to the margarita, I would pay for it. Terrible service. Certain drinks not available and were included in the bill (we got it removed), our bottle of wine was brought to the table and we had to remind the waitress to open it. One of the starters was wrong, our plates were not taken away. we didn’t bother staying for our main course as the wait was so long (almost an hour after starters) and we had another appointment to make.
