Not tourist friendly and lack of hygiene
ISSUE 1:
Despite being located in the centre of Old Town, they do not speak english at all so as a tourist it was hard to communicate with them. Not recommended for tourists.
ISSUE 2:
At the counter area I ordered a sandwich. The lady (whom I assume is the owner) picked it up with a tong then accidentally dropped the sandwich on the countertop (same area which they accept payment ie cash). The lady USED HER OWN HAND to pick up the sandwich without even offering getting another one for me. She had a tong on one hand and still did not bother to use the tong to pick it up. In addition, she did not even offer a plate for my sandwich, not sure how she would expect me to take a sandwich to dine in (that is not wrapped or anything) without any plate. I had to REQUEST a plate which she eventually gave, but she gave me a plate which was smaller than the size of the sandwich. What in the world!! Due to my french level I could not communicate this discontent to her at the time however I would expect HYGIENE from a food safety standard and a plate for food at any restaurant/coffee shop.
Coffee was ok, sandwich was basic, would not come back and would not recommend given...
