Brasserie Le Jura — Restaurant in Neuchâtel

I really enjoyed my evening at La Brasserie Le Jura.

The food was very good, not too sophisticated, which is exactly what I expect from a typical brasserie. The staff was friendly, and I loved the ambiance.

I started with the gnocchi with black truffle and a cheese cream. The gnocchi could have used a bit more salt, but combined with the cheese cream, it was a fantastic mix. Then, I had the saucisson Neuchâtelois in pâte feuilletée, and I finished with an XL cookie with pecan ice cream and praline chocolate. I can highly recommend these three dishes!

We went here pretty late for lunch. They didn't have the regular lunch menu since it was past lunchtime. We ordered out of a limited menu items that they had. I was not expecting much but boy was it good. We ordered a steak tartare which was really good and the bread that accompanied it was fantastic. I recently dined at the Brasserie in Neuchatel, and I must say, the experience was exceptional.
