Boulangerie Rougemont — Restaurant in Nyon

I have been to this place for 4 times now - twice for table service and twice to pick up a “Too good to go” order. All experiences have been extremely disappointing and offensive. First time, the table service was very slow and the milk in the coffees was burnt. Second time I came to pick up the too good to go and as I was entering the person at the till said straight away “I saw you and knew straight away you are here to pick up the leftovers” - in a very condescending tone. I was on top scolded for not bringing my own containers (even if on the app it is clearly mentioned they can pack it for you for an extra 1.-). So the second time I came prepared with a variety of containers and the lady - literally laughing in my face - said there’s no need for containers. Same lady as the previous time. And lastly, for my most recent visit with my boyfriend, I ordered a cake and I didn’t want a drink on the side. I was told I am obliged to take a drink (despite having already taken 2 cakes and a cappuccino) and offered the tap water for 1.-. Honestly appalled at the level of service here. I kept coming back as their products are nice quality and thought maybe I had bad luck with one member of staff but it seems they are all equally rude. Safe to say I will not be stepping here again, especially with all the other nice places in Nyon where all staff are a pleasure to...

I just called this pastry as they have very nice cakes but unfortunately the shop assistant was very aggressive despite I called as usual being very kind and asking to book a cake for 3/4 people. She started being aggressive said that they don’t have cakes for 3 people and Is aid it’s ok for 4, I call you on purpose to understand what’s available. When I told the shop assistant that there was no need to be aggressive she said she doesn’t care about these comments and I responded that if you run a shop it’s not only the quality of the things you have to care about but also how you respond to your clients and while I was doing this she hang up on me. I was shocked and also sad as we were regular clients...

I had my birthday today and bought 2 “pâtés vaudois” at the tearoom! I love the pâtés since my childhood. I must say that I had a great experience today. The sell’s woman, originally from Thailand was so kind with me and answered to all my questions about the pâtés. They are made by the chef personally, with the meat of the local butcher. They are delicious and very sophisticated. Thanks so much to develop and sell exquisite pâtés! I would like to meet the chef and learn how he produce this excellent and exquisite food.
