The 3rd chance we have given to this joint to support the local business in our neighborhood and yet another disappointing experience we had with them.. Unfortunately, what they offer is not Persian cuisine by any stretch of imagination...don’t get me wrong, I’m all about innovation and fusion BUT this is not the case at Mama Persia. Mama Persia is the mother who you want to disown once you start eating out at friends and family table and realize your mother, as lovely as she is, should stay out of the kitchen...the meat was extremely low quality, the chicken kebab stunk to the point that we didn’t touch it and stew (gheymeh) was watery and made with wrong ingredients (green lentil instead of split peas).I wish they were more receptive and they were capable of changing but I guess after more than 2 years trial and error they still deliver what they can which is low standard overpriced misrepresentation of...

Wir haben in diesem Restaurant am Samstag 25.11.20 zum Mittagessen gegessen. Wir waren 2 Familien mit 4 Kinder. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Junge Dame, die für uns zuständig war, hat sich sehr bemüht unsere Wünsche zu erfüllen. Mezze Schmecken gut und Portionen sind von Große her ok. Hauptmenüs die wir bestellt haben, Koobideh Kebab, Chicken Tah Chin, schmeckten gut. Bei Mezzes Kookoo Sabzi und Zeytoon Parvarde schmecken sehr gut, und gut vorbereitet. Restaurant ist eher klein aber sauber.

Bei Hauptmenüs, z.B. bei Koobideh Kebab ist Proportion von Kebab viel große als die Reismenge, deshalb muss man fast eine Spiess Kebab ohne Reis fertig essen. Die Menüs sowie Mezze sind etwas teurer, in Vergleich zu andere Persische Restaurants Bei Salad Shirazi waren viel zu viel Zwiebeln gemischt, aber eigentlich soll mehr Gurke und Tomaten drin sein. Bei Mirza Ghasemi war keine Eier drin, vielleicht wollte der Koch als Vegan deklarieren, aber in Iran Mirza Ghasemi wird immer mit Eier gekocht und zubereitet, deshalb schmeckte diese etwas komisch. WC ist sehr klein , Herren WC Türe klemmt.

We ate lunch in this restaurant on Saturday 11/25/2020. We were 2 families with 4 children. Staff very friendly and helpful. The young lady who was responsible for us tried very hard to fulfill our wishes. Mezze taste good and the portion sizes are ok. The main menus we ordered, Koobideh Kebab, Chicken Tah Chin, tasted good. At Mezzes Kookoo Sabzi and Zeytoon Parvarde taste very good and well prepared. Restaurant is rather small but clean.

For main courses , e.g. Koobideh Kebab, the proportion of kebab is much larger than the amount of rice, so you almost have to finish a skewer kebab without rice. The menus and mezze are a bit more expensive compared to other Persian restaurants There was way too many onions mixed with Salad Shirazi, but actually there should be more cucumber and tomatoes in it. Mirza Ghasemi didn't have any eggs, maybe the cook wanted to declare it vegan, but in Iran Mirza Ghasemi is always cooked and prepared with eggs, so it tasted a bit strange. Toilet is very small, men's toilet door is stuck.

All in all the food was good, hospitality very good. Thank...
