Restaurant Kronenhof — Restaurant in Schaffhausen

Exquisite!! I have been to many good and great restaurants in Schaffhausen... It's actually difficult to find a bad restaurant in the city. Having said that this particular restaurant was just exquisite. I ordered asparagus soup and it was super delicious. I asked Natalie (waitress) for recommendations, and she recommended the dish that I have shown in the picture. And she was spot on! So, to sum it up this restaurant has everything from the ambience to the service to amazing top notch food... and it seems like these three departments are competing amoungst each other to the benefit of the restaurant's customers. Will have to go there again! Will remember what the dishes are called next time (it was in German). Special thanks to Natalie for making my Sunday lunch...

We had a very good meal with options that suited everyone. There was nothing wrong with any of the dishes showing the expertise of the kitchen to be consistent while still making very good food. The service was also very good. I definitely recommend this restaurant especially if you are staying in the hotel above. Not often that hotel restaurants...

Chose this place for dinner by chance and was totally impressed. I had the schnitzel and it was probably the tastiest I've had. It was thin and cooked perfectly so that it was still moist.
