Suren's — Restaurant in Schaffhausen

My Wife and I went there because we saw it had a good Google rating. The reviews I had read were all true. Really really friendly staff, amazing food, generous amounts (I was really hungry on arrival and left the restaurant full. My Wife calls me the Labrador as I set the bar high in terms of quantity :-)). Lovely ambiance and just off the main street. Well with summer on the horizon it is time to get out and enjoy life again and one of the places in Schaffhausen to do that is at Restaurant Surens. The restaurant offers an interestingly diverse and different menu, in a town that is saturated with Italian restaurants. The kids burger was enormously generous and the food was certainly acceptable, along with very friendly service. But one cannot fail to notice how desperately the patio area with the outside bar needs to be cleaned up, the menu needs to be spell-checked and more importantly relieved of unnecessary items (it's simply not possible to make all of these things fresh for the amount of visitors on a normal night).
