Heard good things about this restaurant and wanted to try it. First of all: clear five stars. Food, service and price-performance are absolutely worth it.
Service: very friendly and attentive. No complaints
Food: very nice. Just a few minor details. I had the beef tartar with truffles. The taste was phenomenal, very nice balance so you still tasted the beef and the truffles. Only complaint: no toasted bread/toast, could not choose the spicyness of the tartar. But that is personal taste, the dish itself was nicely done. My wife had the stroganoff which was very good, I had the menu main course with meat: beef entrecote with cognac sauce and truffled mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were nicely seasoned, usually the truffle is overwhelming, this was not the case here, very well done. The beef (and the vegetables) itself was a little bit too salty for my taste, but I prefer a little less salt. My wife really liked it. Highlight: Both sauces were perfectly done, used all the bread to use up the rest of the sauce. The dessert was a perfectly fine finish for the evening, not better than the main dish but a nice ending.
Drinks: Cocktails are okay, I tried a Whisky Sour which was okay. Well rounded but I guess with a little soda and no egg whites. The non-alcohoic drinks were fine. I ordered the wine-menu as well. The wines were very well chosen for the menu, the wine-portions were very generous.
All in all: despite the travel distance, we'd be willing to come back. We had a lovely...

The food was tasty (the beef tartare and truffle tagliolini were perfection) but the menu was not very innovative, which you could expect from a fine dining restaurant. There were many classical dishes that you can find in any decent restaurant (salmon, chicken, steak, etc) with very classical side dishes (vegetables, potatoes, and pasta). Sure there were some Asian dishes bringing the exotic touch, but again nothing you would not find in an Asian restaurant.
The dessert was the highlight of our dinner, since it was something completely unexpected but so good (lemon sorbet, with olive oil and blackcurrant sirop if I remember correctly).
It could be that we were unlucky with the menu in September, and that normally it is...
Read moreWe enjoyed everything: the food was delicious (all courses, e.g. beef filet, lobster ravioli, spinach ravioli, truffle spaghetti, as well as the bread itself, and the wines), service was very friendly yet respectful, and the decoration is also quite nice. All this for very reasonable prices for Switzerland.
They have menus in English too.
They also have free parking - we struggled to find the entrance. You have to go around to the back of the building starting from the west side of the block (not the east side where the...
