Suprême Tacos — Restaurant in Vernier

We decided for this place for dinner. It is next to the hotel and it looks cheap and simple. Good thing they speak English, were not so busy, and prepared the food quite fast. It was nicely explained to me what are 'the tacos' and how to choose and from what. At first I wanted to get super tacos, because it looked that could satisfy me. I was reminded, that it is really huge... Like 1kg of meat. So I decreased my requirement and in the end ordered mega spicy variant of double tacos.. And I did the right choice. It was huge portion of 2 kinds of meat covered with cheese and interglued with 2 sauces. All wrapped in one tortilla. The Spice level was fine although I would handle much more. As for the quantity.. For 14 CHF.. More than enough to overfill my belly. One minus is that 10 minutes after our arrival it became so crowded that people almost sit on my table while waiting in queue. And as a result it was noisy...

Interesting place. these are not tacos, sort of grilled burritos maybe. Interesting set of sauces. A bit heavy on the meat, but nice choices of types of meat (i tried doenner with curry sauce, and merguez with algerian sauce, and enjoyed both). I ate in, seems like mostly young immigrant crowd here, I enjoyed this milieu despite the fact as an old american tourist I did not fit in. The place could benefit from having some music playing in the background maybe? No alcohol. Reasonable prices. Convenient location if you are staying in the...

Les tacos sont bons, bien garnis,... je suis une bonne cliente, j'ai souvent commandé chez eux, via sur leur site.

Malheureusement, aujourd'hui je suis très en colère de la livraison. J'ai attendu 1 heure pour 5 menus, rien est arrivé, j'ai décidé de les appeler et la personne au téléphone était agressive, tout en me disant que ma commande a été envoyée et qu'elle était revenue au restaurant.

Apparemment, le livreur est resté longtemps devant notre porte et nous a appelé plusieurs fois. (J' ai reçu aucune visite de livreur, ni aucun appel... alors que ma cuisine est juste en face de la porte d'entrée). J'ai vérifié mon numéro de téléphone, même la sonnette, tout fonctionne!

Je décide donc d'aller sur place, car il y a 30 livraisons avant qu'ils puissent me livrer à nouveau ma commande et ma famille avait faim. Je discute avec la caissière qui me dit que ma commande n'est pas sur place ou je me suis certainement trompée de restaurant... je lui répète le numéro de ma commande et lui redis que non j'ai ma confirmation sur moi. Et comme par hasard qqun dans la cuisine dit : "oui j'ai sa commande!" La caissière me demande de l'excuser, elle prend le sac me dit que tout est bon et elle m'encaisse.

Trop contente d'avoir mon sac de menu de tacos, je rentre chez moi et je me rends compte qu'il me manquait 5 boissons et cheeseburger...
