Pizzeria Ristorante Molino — Restaurant in Vernier

The restaurant itself it’s ok, inside a mall near to the McDonald’s. Decoration - very simple but elegant and you get to see the pizza chef in action in a traditional pizza oven Food : Bread - was very very tough and cold, maybe next time you can put in the pizza oven for 30 seconds? Steak - was very tough too, not the quality you expect for 59CHF Chicken - very tough too! I mean, their meat are on steroids or something…. Carbonara - the temperature was so high that the egg was getting flocky…I mean…come on guys, it’s CARBONARA! Service - here when everything goes VERY bad, the service was very slow…..it took us 15 minutes to get some service even that we tried to call the waiter twice and the place was not full at all,8 tables only at the time. Hope you guys can take all that into consideration and improve for your own good. Ohhhh by the way, when the table behind me asked for the bill the waiter came with the desserts tray to check if they wanted some but I think they just forgot to introduce the desserts to us, which I appreciate. EDIT: looking at other reviews it seems that everyone it’s complain about its service…..maybe you guys can hire someone profissional to handle...

I had high hopes for Molino Pizza, but unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The atmosphere was nice with dimmed lighting, but that’s where the positives ended. The restaurant was packed, which is understandable, but pizzas were sitting around cold instead of being delivered in a timely manner. The worst part was the service. The waitstaff was rude and unprofessional. When I asked simple questions, like whether the focaccia bread was the “bouncy” type, the waiter just laughed in my face instead of providing a helpful answer. When my pizza arrived, it didn’t match what was described. I also ordered a Coke Zero, but was given regular Coke instead. I get that mistakes happen, especially when it’s busy, but the waiter didn’t seem to be paying attention to my order or listening to my concerns. Overall, it was a frustrating experience, and I’m not sure I’ll be returning. The food and service just didn’t meet expectations, and I left feeling like the staff didn’t care about providing a good experience. Wouldn’t recommend based...

I have eaten here three times. The food (if it comes when it is supposed to- once we had main courses brought to the table so far apart that my daughter finished her bolognese well before I was given my pizza) is fine. The problem is the service. We have waited up to 20 minutes before anybody came for our order, then another half hour before being given our meal. Nobody seems to be in charge of oversight to ensure that people are not left at tables with no service- looking around, it is clear that customers are far too frequently just ignored. The 3.50 charge for a small bottle of tap water, filtered or not, is outrageous. A few more vegetarian/vegan options would also be appreciated. The crostini misti is unbalanced and far too salty. Pizzas are ok. Having to ask three times for the bill (not at a busy time) is not ok. If you are hoping for a quick bite before a film at the cinema- go...
