I’m seldom at a loss for words, but trying to describe just how terrible this experience is is quite difficult.
Upon arrival the waitress seemed panicked at the thought of finding me a table in a near empty restaurant. (I include a photo of the vista of empty seats).
I was then treated to a mutilated animal part, tired vegetables, and from frozen fries for a mere CHF43. Sadly, I was unable to wash it down with a gulp of beer for none was offered to me when the waiter thew the plate at my table.
Overall the staff are inattentive and generally nowhere to be seen. I had told myself that if a menu wasn’t brought to me within 15 minutes I’d get McDonalds. They arrived after 13 minutes to take my order. I wish...
Read moreThe worst experience in Switzerland so far. The main (?) waiter (an older guy in glasses) is extremely rude, arrogant and absolutely not polite with the clients. He even forgot the fondue forks (were we supposed to eat with hands or what ?!), he said that everything is stressful for him.. maybe if working in public service make you rude, it’s better to chose something else where you don’t have to deal with tourists?
P.S. Other waiters (much younger ones) were much nicer, and very helpful.
