Botane — Restaurant in Vevey

We stumbled across this place while looking for somewhere with outdoor seating and couldn't have made a better choice. Our waiter was really lovely and gave us a brilliant recommendation for food. We had a steak with side salad and chips, and a salad starter, with 2 drinks for me and a beer for my boyfriend. The steak was cooked to perfection. The bill was very reasonable for what we'd had. The waiters English was excellent and we chatted about his time in London. He was very friendly. It's also a great spot for people watching as the outside tables are opposite the town hall. We came on a Friday and watched about 5 couples go in to get married, and then gave them all a cheer each time...

Amazing decor, and even more amazing food! The colours textures and the tastes were all exquisitely curated and executed. It was such a pleasure to the senses. I love the mango prawns which were superbly done; with full flavours of the fresh prawns intact and well matched to the mango! We also tried the chicken and were delighted to find the chicken very very tenderly cooked, which was an amazing feat for the chef to deliver it done just nicely,...

I was looking for the right poke bowl portion and found this little gem of a place for a quick lunch. Deftly put together in front of me with freshly prepared ingredients and dressing and beautifully presented, La Savane did not disappoint!
