Food, service and atmosphere were good, close to perfect. I give 3 stars only because, given the quantity and size of pancakes I got, I didn't feel that was reflected in the cost, but then again... If I'm paying 16 CHF for 3 (7 cm diameter) pancakes, I rather have a 3 nice big pancakes (preferably not burned, like the one hidden in the bottom). I mean, praise to the local ingredients consideration, but I was expecting (maybe wrongly) bigger sized, or at least 6 (of the similar size) pancakes to find it a fair deal for the price. By the way, I feel honored to incite such curiosity on my other reviews, but unfortunately you're missing the context. Referring to the McDonald's example, I gave a 5 star to the specific location which has over-expectations pleasant and nice table service, the workers are top notch, and with the food, I know what I'll get, so no surprise there, in the end I'm taking the decision to go inside and get a big coffee, which isn't too shabby, for 4 CHF 🤷‍♂️ it's all about managing expectations Thank you for giving me the opportunity to contextualize my review. I want to love this more than I can.

The vibes are great. The view on the lake is fantastic and they did a good job with the interior and exterior design of the place.

The food was disappointing unfortunately. Weirdly, there is only one vegetarian main dish (in 2025), and that in a place which caters towards younger crowds. This single vegetarian main dish is a ramen, which just left out the porc or chicken ingredients of the other ramen options. No tofu (or other meat substitutes) instead. The ramen soup itself was way to soy sauce heavy. The pasta dish was okay, but the combination of ingredients seemed not fantastic either.

That said, salad and tiramisu were good. Unfortunately, we were told that 1/3 of the entry dishes on the menu were not available, and a bunch of desserts were not available either.

Le personnel de service est déplorable et la dite « gérante «  ne connaissent rien aux codes culturels suisses, elle est irrespectueuse, impolie et grossière. Hier, 25 juillet 2022, ma fille et moi avons vécu une chose inimaginable en Suisse 🇨🇭 Vers 11:30 nous sommes arrivées à cet établissement et avons pris une place à l’extérieur, nous avons commandé et dans une de nos boissons, au fond du verre avait un bout de plastique noir. Nous avons signé ceci à une femme petite et blonde qui par après s’est identifié, auprès de la police comme étant, la gérante de remplacement. Enfin, on attendait qu’elle s’en excuse mais à notre grand étonnement, elle nous a rendu responsables de que ce bout de plastique atterrisse dans le verre, son argumentation était qu’elle-même avait préparé la boisson. Au moment du payer, j’ai demandé à parler au gérant pour lui expliquer la situation mais cette femme m’a dit, de manière arrogante et grossière qu’il n’était pas là et que j’avais qu’à l’écrire un mail, elle a vite perdu son calme et elle m’a mis à la porte sans avoir payer, je lui ai dit ok, si c’est comme ça! mais elle m’a suivi à la terrasse et là, elle s’en est pris à ma fille qui attendait. Une fois à l’intérieur de l’établissement, car ma fille insistait pour payer la quittance de tout juste 17.- frs, dans la discussion, la dite gérante a pris ma fille par le cou, le cuisinier et son aide peuvent en témoigner, là, c’était du trop et on a téléphoné à la police. Deux agents sont venus, on s’est expliqué , ma fille peut déposer plainte contre cette personne à tout moment durant les prochains 3 mois. L’agent de police lui a demandé d’effacer de son portable les photos qu’elle avait pris car en plus de son acte démesuré et fou, elle avait pris de photos de nous pour nous intimider. C’est déplorable que cela arrive en Suisse 🇨🇭 à Vevey dans un établissement qu’on fréquente depuis fort long temps.
