Brasserie La Coupole 1912 - Restaurant Resto Bar — Restaurant in Vevey

Lovely brasserie at a central convenient location with beautiful historic and detailed paintings on the wall worth admiring but not only that.. The menu is thoughtfully chosen offering Swiss traditional dishes as well as fish and seafood in excellent quality. Lots of love to detail is put into the presentation of the dishes as well as to the quality of ingredients. If you want to try Swiss „rösti“, you will get the properly prepared original here. As well as fish and muscles are top fresh and full of flavors. The service is very attentive and fast. Give some kindness and smile (side comment to the negative comments here) and you will get it in return multiplied by ten (at least). If you don‘t have time for the dinner, make sure to pass by for your after-work drink on the cozy terasse in front of the brasserie (roof covered for rainy weather) and unlike other places opened on Sundays and Mondays. Guaranteed best Aperol Spritz between Zurich and Geneva and all around. I had an early dinner in the brasserie section of this hotel restaurant. The menu is interesting with several vegetarian options and they have a good selection of wines from the region. Unfortunately I chose a goat cheese salad that featured four ultra-thin, barely melted slices of cheese on top of chewy bread, on top of low quality salad, bathing in vinegar rich salad sauce completely killing the taste of the excellent pinot Noir from the Fin Bec producer in Sion that accompanied my meal. The very pleasant waiter passed on my complaint to the kitchen and offered me a free coffee which explains the three stars rather than two. Really poor...

Grosse déception. Nous vivons dans la région depuis longtemps et avons profité d'un bon reçu aux fêtes pour tester la brasserie.

La viande était peu tendre et le poisson (filet de perches) insipide et pas de sauce tartare avec.

Le serveur était assez froid et plusieurs erreurs ont étés commises : couteau pour la viande amené bien après le plat, mauvaise glace amenée sur un dessert sans excuse et limite ennuyé de ramener la bonne et l'addition a été amené et on a du payer directement sans pouvoir la consulter, le serveur est resté près de nous.

Malgré notre bon de 60.- on se retrouve à payer encore 80.-

Déçu! On trouve bien meilleur et moins cher ailleurs dans la région.

Mise à jour de la note (2* à 1*) suite à réponse de l'établissement : Nous avons mangé 2 plats principaux, 1 dessert chacun et uniquement 2 apéritifs et verres de vin, 1 bière et une bouteille d'eau. Malgré cette commande, l’addition (presque 150.-) est très salée, je suis navré. Je ne comprend pas la remarque sur le dimanche soir et nos bons, nous devons être considérés comme des clients normaux sans différenciations. Nous ne sommes pas responsable de votre partenariat et des pertes associées. Nous n'avons jamais eu de sauce tartare car nous n'avons pas demandé. Mais cela aurait été le seul moyen de donner un peu de goût aux filets de perches.. L'erreur est humaine mais la reconnaissance des erreurs aussi. C'est à nouveau pas à nous d'assumer la fatigue et les erreurs qui ne correspondent pas au standing présumé que la brasserie...
