Restaurant Tandoor — Restaurant in Winterthur

Have been a customer since 2016, always liked the food here and found no problems at all. Until around these two years, there was one time I ordered lamb biryani as takeaway and instead of lamb, they gave me beef but charged me for lamb. I thought they just made a mistake so it did not stay on my mind. But recently i had a meal there and I ordered the same, I found only little lamb on my plate but most of the meat were again, BEEF. I think if you like lamb so much as I do, you will know the difference the instance you have a bite. I am sad to see the place has turned...

I wouldn't call the food here authentic Indian food. It's more like Indian food for swiss people, swindian. I say this because the food wasn't really spicy and the garlic naan wasn't a garlic naan but garlic bread (chnoblibroot). A proper garlic naan just tastes a bit like garlic but there you get full on garlic taste... your taste buds are being drowned with garlic and you can't taste anything elese anymore.

Also the price value proposition isn't there, we had to pay 10 CHF for 2 rice bowls. In total we spent 100 CHF for two people. Never will I...

I really hate giving 1 or two stars reviews, but somehow the food we had today was particularly bad. Food arrived in good condition, no question about it,and pretty fast. But the taste had nothing to do with Indian food. I could taste that the meat was not rotten or anything like that, but it was the first time the curry tasted like a stu or something I could not really figure out. Please review the chef's skills - otherwise you need to change the restaurant profile and adapt to the cook :). I gave 2 stars just because the food...
