Bernerhof — Restaurant in Zurich

Awesome experience!

We reserved a table for two on a Saturday evening because we wanted to eat some fondue chinoise. This place offers fondue chinoise à discretion for 66 CHF each, with unlimited meat, french fries, vegetables, rice and sauces.

Despite the restaurant is a little bit expensive, it's really worth every penny. We payed 212 CHF for 2x fondue chinoise, 1x bottle of water and 1x bottle of wine (72 CHF).

The service was amazing, the waitress gave us a magnificent service and ensured that we always had everything. The food was very tasty and the sauces were good too.

I was also positively impressed by the fact that vegetables were added to the broth, and I have to admit: it's a great addition.

I'll definitely recommend this place for every single aspect, and I'll make sure to come back for another...

Friendly service, awesome food in a quiet and elegant setting. I wish there were English menu but wish the help of my friends, I was able to order what I want. I choose the bone marrow as the starter which was nicely seasoned along with a crunchy bread. Entree was the Swiss prime beef with seasonal vegetables. I wish the meat is a bit more on the rare side but the overall flavor was great. Finished off with their take on tiramisu which was lovely. Overall a fantastic...

Disappointed with the service. We arrived at 13:20 and they said we could not have fondue chinois anymore because they close at 14:00. Then they said we could have something else, but by the time we were going to sit they decided it was too late to serve us. I would suggest to the restaurant to say in google maps you close at what ever time you can not take any more costumers. Very sad since we were looking forward...
