Cakefriends Sihlcity — Restaurant in Zurich

The coffee and the ham&mushroom cake were average, but the one star review is for how rude the staff was to me, apart from the unnecessarily long waiting time.

It was my first time in your shop. I didn't know exactly what a salty cake was and in the photos I was seeing mostly desserts and salty croissants, so I was expecting something like that. I asked whether you have the ham&mushroom cake and I was rudely yelled at that it's right in front of me, and then the server started laughing at me towards the other customers.

You don't have labels. You don't have photos on the menu. Salty cakes are not the most common type of meal that should be obvious to anyone about how they look. And even if it was obvious, why be rude to me?

I will surely not...

Staff and atmosphere were lovley, ordered a take away flamkuchen with side salad, flamkuchen was tiny and salad just average, not to mention the salad dressing that I was given is expired and has chunks…..not very happy for 19.90.- Today is 31.10 for refrence to expired salad dressing….

Update I went back 20 minutes later to say that the salad dressing was expired, and I was offered a new salad (to which I said no becasue the same sause was going to be given) and then a “this usually never happens” No monetary reimbursement, just a thank you.
