A warm evening in July 2014 was perfect for a stay at Restaurant Certo. Many tables outside were free and inviting us to sit down enjoy a good meal. The welcoming of the lady with the black hair was not very friendly. We had to move to another table because ours wasn't set (cutlery, glas and a paper serviette). So we moved. The table with the cover was dirty from a day's car pollution. The lady meant, after I asked her to clean it, that the table has a rough surface...no not the surface was the problem. The serviette had a black imprint from the dirt. However, the lady was in the typical Zürich-what-should-I-care-about-guests mood. Continue to be unfriendly and righteous. Had lunch here a couple of times. This time we decided to give it a go and have dinner. The food is ok, but not overwhelming. I'm sure there's a lot of room for improvement in presentation and taste. The tiramisu was perhaps the worst I have had in a restaurant that day. Heavy and bitter. Maybe less cocoa powder would help. The soup as a starter was disappointing. Bland and mediocre.
