I was recommended this restaurant by a friends colleague. We entered the restaurant around 7pm. We asked for a table from a server with a bun on his head. Let’s call him Pepe.
Pepe seated us in the corner table. He asked if we had reservations. We said we didn’t. He proceeded to take our order WITHOUT CLARIFYING ANY SEATING conditions.
I ordered tea but my friend ordered a meal and a drink. Pepe was curt and asked two times if I wasn’t eating anything. I asked Pepe what types of tea they had and he mentioned a couple. I asked if they had lemon. He said yes.
When our food was served, the tea I got was plant tea. We were busy with our conversation. Only upon the first sip I realised it was not lemon. I asked Pepe that it wasn’t lemon. He said lemon was over. I asked him why did he not tell me it was over before served. He was very rude and said again it was over and took the glass away.
Then another supposedly senior female server came in. Let’s call her Philomena. I explained it all to her. I said my issue was he didn’t tell me it was over and didn’t give me a choice for another. This was around 07:35pm.
After 20 minutes, my friend had finished her meal but half her drink was still remaining when Pepe rudely told us to leave since the table was RESERVED from 08:15pm.
We said to him he didn’t specify it would be available to us only for an hour.
I went online and reserved a table in my name. There were empty seats in the restaurant and on the reservation online.
Then again Pepe came in after 10 minutes and asked us to leave. It was raining outside. I showed him our reservation. Philomina said the reservation is not valid since we booked it after coming inside.
We are Asians.

Read moreI have to agree with many of the negative reviews regarding the service in this restaurant. They have one waiter (with a beard) who is by far the worst person to work in customer service. I’d fire him immediately, he’s arrogant and is negatively impacting this restaurant and customers should avoid it unless they want to be treated with disrespect. He never looks you in the eye when serving and stares out the window and throws the dishes on the table. He’s also completely incompetent. He messed up our order and one dish never arrived. He just kept saying the same phrase over and over “You too much hungry”, although we only ordered 5 tapas dishes, so he’s not the brightest nor does he have a grasp of the English language. When paying the bill, the head waitress apologised as we didn’t receive one dish and she rightfully compensated us for a wrong dish. All food were fresh but way too salty for us. We finished three bottles of water and when we got home, we both feel very thirsty. The service is not ideal for us. There was only one waiter and perhaps due to language barrier, he was not really warm towards us, no smile, minimum talking.
