Classic Spanish tapas plus a distinctive touch you will for sure love! Not only tapas but main dishes as well everything being excellent. The service is paired with the quality of the food and the right price. I enjoyed a lot the special marinated Lamb and also the Secreto Ibérico, simply delicious! Without forgetting to mention The Cochinillo that is simply superb. Look at the pictures! I still have pending to try the Arroces but looking at other tables I think I won't be disappointed. By the way here you can enjoy the best drag beer you will find in the entire world in its category (I'm not joking) Estrella Galicia 1906 EDIT: Since 2 years ago, the star main courses (for me) were suppressed from the Menu. i.e.: Cochinillo, Arroz Caldoso, Bacalao al Horno... It was disappointing to have been coming here quite often during 2 years and order the Cochinillo for the last time with some foreign friends and had something else served. :( Also the service, although it's quite good, did rotate and while it's quite professional it's not the same as it used to be. Still, it's a nice place to have dinner or lunch. Will...
Read moreWe visited Iberia Tapas as a group of four and had a lovely evening. We ordered seven tapas dishes and one dessert, which turned out to be the perfect amount of food for all of us.
Overall, the food was very good. A couple of small suggestions: the “Tostadas con tomate” were a bit too toasted, almost burnt, which overpowered the fresh tomato flavour. A lighter toast would allow the tomato to shine more. The “Tortilla española” had a beautiful texture and was perfectly cooked, but it could use just a touch more seasoning. That said, a pinch of salt did the trick.
The standout dish for me was the “Carrilleras de Ternera” absolutely fantastic. Cooked to perfection, rich in flavour, and incredibly tender. I would come back just for that dish alone.
The atmosphere was warm and lively, but what truly made the evening memorable was the service. The staff were not only attentive and kind but also genuinely funny and engaging, which added a personal touch to the experience.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Spanish flavours in Zurich with...
Read moreThe restaurant had a nice atmosphere and the hostess was very friendly. The sangria and patatas bravas were delicious. The food leaned towards almost too salty such as the pimientos and the paella mixta. The paella was supposed to have chicken but they didn’t put any and when we told our waiter all he said was he’ll tell the kitchen and that’s it. The rice in the paella was undercooked where it’s crunchy. The seafood in the paella also didn’t look fresh and appetizing. I’ve been to many tapas restaurants including in various places in the USA as well as in Spain and they had the worst paella I’ve ever had. I’d say skip the paella and just do the tapas if you’re to come here. Waiter was inattentive and even after asking that we wanted to get the bill and pay it took at an extra 10 minutes and ignored us and had the hostess bring the handheld...
