Food was excellent. I will certainly recommend to visit the restaurant though prices are a bit higher compare to other Indian restaurant I visited in last one week.
Service could be much better. Some feedback for the owner :-
very laid back attitude when serving food by the Bhutani service boy. The owner is good and have fantastic way of treating guests.
asked for chilli and he brought cut pieces saying can’t serve full one piece green chilli. Cut one’s must be more than 2 and I had asked only for one.
the service boy made me login to google and asked for review in front of him and literally took my mobile and gave 5 star. Condition was 3 euro discount. While I am ok to give the feedback, it has to be asked nicely and honest review should be coming from me, not from the restaurant for themselves. Also understand if a customer is spending 50 euros for a one time meal, 3 euros may not make much of difference unless adding too much value. One should trust their customers, especially when I mentioned that I will give online review, he didn’t trust me and made me login to google (recovered password as I didn’t remember my passcode). Lastly he asked me to give star in all category for which I refused.
Again repeating overall food is good but I will avoid coming here again as to me food should be served with love and smile, at-least that’s what Indian tradition is about. (And you name yourself dilli),
FYI- he didn’t even ask or serve water.
Thanks An honest...

The only waiter, in this cramped up place, was making dining in customers wait too long, only to witness his rude behavior. I had to literally walk up to the kitchen most of the times. When requested to make chicken Tikka spicy, he replies that snacks are pre cooked, so there is no option to make them spicy. Later, on complaining that seekh kebabs are uncooked, he replies that they are supposed to be half cooked. Then, when we asked him to escalate to the owner, the waiter or owner just won't turn up. So we pretended to walk out without paying and voila, everyone was running around. Finally about our Indian owner, let me put it straight: the owner was even more rude, incorrigible and not open to feedback. He even called the police to threaten us tourists, instead of accepting a simple feedback. The food is below average and the ambience is tastelessly and forcefully made Indian, making the place look even more conjusted. Not that the rates are exorbitant but totally not worth spending hard earned money.
I'm surprised that with zero hospitality or rather zero basic courtesy towards Indian tourists, how's he running a restaurant is visited primarily by Indian tourists/NRIs? Probably he's surviving on fake 5* reviews.
I really wish him...
Read moreFinding Halal Indian food options near Zurich city center can be a challenge, so after extensive searching, my friends and I decided to visit Delhi House of Best Curry for Sunday lunch, a few years ago—even traveling from the opposite side of the city. Unfortunately, we discovered it was closed, despite online listings showing Sunday hours as 11:00–22:00. Nearby restaurant staff confirmed it usually remains closed for lunch on Sundays.
While our plans were disrupted—especially since we had a bus to catch after lunch—the restaurant owner has since updated the Sunday hours to reflect that only dinner is available, not lunch or brunch. This is a helpful improvement for future visitors.
Though I didn't get the chance to try the food, the restaurant had a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Prices appeared quite reasonable compared to other Indian eateries in Zurich. It’s located a bit outside the main center, but still very conveniently close to tram stations—making it an easy stop even from downtown.
I look forward to dining here on my next trip. Based on the ambiance and feedback from others, I’d still recommend it for anyone looking for Halal Indian cuisine in Zurich—just plan your visit around their correct...
