Tacos Ramiro y Macario — Restaurant in Zurich

What a delicious experience.

I've been waiting for this taquería (same team as the Mexican restaurant "el alebrije" in Kreis 6) to open its doors. A touch of Mexico in Zurich. I'm very picky about tacos, and this was just spot on.

Tacos include classics like "al pastor" and "birria," fish tacos (from Mexico's Pacific coast) and vegan cactus fajitas. Just like in Mexico, you can jazz up your tacos, choose from different hot sauces, or even mix them up to your liking.... Go for it!... Drinks include "aguas frescas" such as horchata. I'm looking forward to trying the churros for dessert on my next visit.

Staff is very friendly. If you get a chance, talk to the owner. You'll see how much passion he puts into his projects. For him, it's not...

A Taste of Home in Zurich - 10/10!

As a native Texan, I have high expectations when it comes to tacos, and Tacos Ramiro y Macario absolutely delivered! The pastor tacos were some of the best I’ve ever had — perfectly seasoned, juicy, and packed with authentic flavor.

The salsa bar is a fantastic touch, and the verde salsa was the star for me, adding just the right kick. The churros were another highlight—great size, perfectly crisp, and delicious.

On top of the amazing food, the staff is incredibly friendly and clearly skilled in the kitchen, making the whole experience even better.

This spot is a 10/10, and I’ll definitely be back for another round before heading back to Texas....

From the moment you step into this cozy Mexican gem, you're transported to a culinary paradise. Every detail is there and you can taste it in their food. Even the ingredients like tomatillos and other peppers are grown and handpicked from their greenhouse in Luzern. The ambiance is vibrant, with colorful décor and lively music setting. But it's the tacos that steal the show – each bite bursting with authentic flavors. Whether you're a carnivore or a veggie lover, they have a taco you're going to love. The self-serve salsa bar with homemade salsas from not so spicy to very spicy is a very nice touch! The owners are so friendly and every visit comes with a warm welcome....
