I did not like it much. I expected a restaurant, but it is a cafe of a medium size. They seat single visitors at a bar table or at bar stools facing the windows, shoulder to shoulder to other customers. It was very uncomfortable to try to eat like that. I asked for a table seat, but they told me in a matter of fact manner that the tables are for groups. Well, who is doing whom a favor by coming to eat there, in the first place? I would not complain, though, if the food was good. But it was very, very average. Bottomline, if you are a tourist looking for a good experience, there is no reason to stop by Saigon. this is a place where you go far and foremost for the food. the decor won't keep you there but the selection of freshly prepared dishes. you can choose between around 12 dishes such as green/red curries, butter chicken, chicken satay, there is even a stir-fry. you can easily go there with vegetarians, i've done it several times.

this place is very popular with people living in the neighborhood because it's quick and easy and the waiter recognizes you, is eccentric and always up for a chat. it's also popular because it's price/value...

Ate here with my friend the waiter was super rude and unprofessional. He came to every table asking why his camera wasn't working on the phone. Then he didn't take our order for a long while.
