Best ice cream in Zurich--can confirm after extensive market research :) I've tried most of their flavors and not a single one has disappointed. Though the winners are the hazelnut and pistachio Stracciatella flavors. I also really enjoyed their fun banana flavor with brownie and other mix ins (it's quite sweet, though) and the almond honey. The vegan flavors (chocolate, date walnut) are good but can't compete with the non vegan--they still have some improvements to make here. Finally, the spaghetti eis was a fun treat, but would not recommend it over just getting a couple of different flavors. It was probably the least exciting thing we tried and the way they serve it hides the noodle-ey look, so it just ends up feeling like eating vanilla ice cream with strawberry sauce rather than something more fun. Read moreThe ice cream, while not the best I've ever had, was decent. However, it didn't quite live up to the standards I expected in terms of quality. What disappointed me even more was the lackluster customer service. The employees were not as friendly as I would have hoped, which significantly impacted the overall experience. It's essential for a place that serves treats like ice cream to create a warm and inviting atmosphere, but sadly, that was lacking during my visit. With some adjustments, this place could become a more enjoyable spot for ice...

To make matters worse, the staff was arrogant and unfriendly. The card payment terminal forced a 5% tip on us, which is not legal in Switzerland. That feels like a deliberate rip-off of customers.
Finally, the shop provides no rubbish bin of its own — customers are expected to throw their cups into the city bin placed right opposite the entrance on the pavement. So Zurich taxpayers are left to subsidize the store’s waste disposal.
I expect management to explain both the dubious payment practice and the lack of responsibility for...
