Shiso Burger Zürich — Restaurant in Zurich

Maybe you could say the price level was rather high for the size, but you could also say (but nobody does that ;D) that the pricelevel was pretty low, for the awesome near to perfection taste you got there. It's not just says it's "the better burger" because they do this+this or that+that, they are ACTUALLY the best burger. Bulgoni (beef) top, my friend took it, "best burger", my thunasteak burger was awesome, the tuna really tasted like you'd eat it freshly catched from and next to the sea. Second thing was the ambient: best location, cozy sidestreet vibe, no traffic of tourists, nor cars, shadow for summerdays, alot of space inside for all other occasions. Nice bar. Great kitchen-setting. AND: lovely sound (good taste, FKJ, jazzy stuff, ambient as i said). They guys are really nice, they give you good but not too much information and there's a great vibe. Honestly, I'm freaking happy that I've found this today here in Zurich ^^ not gonna lie, really 5 out of 5

Edit: whoever of the staff is reading this, tell your service guy (sry, no name) and kitchen guy (none either) that they're doing a freaking great job and keeping that level upright IS...

Overpriced for middling burgers.

I can get as good or better for just over half the price. The most memorable parts of the meal were the drink and ordering with a smartphone without confirmation. I could have left my email address to get a receipt but I’m not fond of leaving my details everywhere. Therefore the closest I got to confirmation was the drink I ordered being prepared shortly after, so I assumed my order went through.

Staff were friendly enough and the place seemed to generally be clean and efficient.

I tried it out because of the good reviews and just don’t get the rating (4.6 when I went). There are better places within 2 minutes walk that get a worse rating. Maybe I just don’t fit the intended customer profile, which is fair enough.

I did notice that there was a QR code to leave a review and that after leaving the review you could play to win a prize if you leave your email address. Given this was the second time they wanted my email address they do seem to be keen on getting...

Just came home from this place and unfortunately my girlfriend immediately had to run to the bathroom because she felt sick. the salad wasn't fresh and she was complaining about it as we were eating. my sister ordered a salad with salmon and there was hardly any salmon in it. we sent it back and got another one, but this time they added teriyaki sauce, but she had ordered it without. my burger was very tasty, but extremely salty. the ice tea was good. fries also very nice and crunchy. all in all, however, i have to give 2 stars for the food. gf is throwing up as i am writing this... the waiter was real nice tho!

Edit: After waking up this morning I also felt an uncomfortable sensation in my belly. just came from the toilet and had bad diarreah. the food in this restaurant is either not fresh or the hygiene standards are sub-par. because of this, I changed the rating to 1 from previously 2.

stay away folks, either the food is old or the cooks don't wash...
