Is this place supposed to serve one of the best burgers in Zurich? Heard about it and decided to give it a try. I walked in not knowing what to order asked for recommendations and the cashier couldn't give any because she said "every burger is special on its own and suits different people". I really struggled because I asked what's popular or signature and she said "everything is" so I stood in front of the menu for 5 mins before deciding on the Truffle Burger. Also ordered the sweet potato fries and and drink. The bill came out to be 32 CHF which was quite ridiculous for me but I just accepted it because I thought that's the average price of a normal meal in Zurich, not knowing if this place is considered a fast food, cafe or restaurant. The burger was actually quite nice and the beef was cooked to my preference. The sweet potato fries was kinda too big I couldn't finish it despite telling myself it's expensive I should finish everything. Was quite satisfied and filling meal and worth giving a try. Think I arrived about 2pm wasn't really peak period so there were people eating but there was no queue so the food was prepared...

Burger was a bit poor. Beef patty was fine, inside it contained one tomato, onion and salad.. oh and a bit of white mayo - this was supposed to be the truffle mayo? Burger like this i would expect somewhere at a swimming pool in rural Eastern Europe.
Fries were overfried and not salted enough to my liking, but okay I guess.
Lady at the counter forgot to make my passionfruit lemonade which she additionally made (which on the menu looks very fancy and costs 6,90CHF) in reality though, it was just a weird sour water in a plastic cup with ice, no sweet at all, nothing added. This is definitely not homemade lemonade, just a cold yellow water with sour sirup.
This all for 30,80CHF, I know you Swiss people earn a lot but man for this price I would expect at least an average burger and am amazed this place...
Read moreI will refer to the opion of Thomas Pastrek, as I remeber this situation and it was completely different then he described. 30 minutes before closing the restautant starts to give the orders to take away. What is practise in many locals, as the staff has to close the day by ordering and cleaning the place before the end of the shift. The clients are informed before taking the order, that it will be a take away order and if it is ok for them. (just to remind: a take away order is an order that is packed to be eaten outside the place). He agreed. Then 5 minutes before closing, with a group of friends, they start to sit on the already ordered tables, and unpack their take away boxes.. I think this is disrespect of the staff, because if some rules are earlier discussed and they agreed on them, should be respected without...
