I thought SB partners around the globe are friendly. This store's different story. After taking our cups, otw to 1 of their doors, A lady barista from the counter just shouted at us in German (we dunno what she's talkin about as we're foreigners), she even abandoned her cash register just to stop us by putting a "Slippery" sign in-front of us. So okay, we understand maybe there's a dedicated door 2 for exits, but I see no sign. I noticed everyone's heads turned at us. It was embarrasing.
We used door 2 then. My friends and I were seated near door 1 and we still see locals coming IN and OUT of door 1. But we didn't bother anymore. Then it was around 9PM, the Lady barista burst out of Door 1 then shouted at us again. We didn't get what she's saying so I asked the other SB Partner who passed behind me to tell us what the Angry Lady Barista just told us, she just smiled and told us that the Angry lady just wanted to close the Table Umbrella. But I didn't actually believed her, but we then decided to leave the place. I've read their store hours and it was until 9PM every saturday. I understand that they're closing and wanted to clear the smoking zone from people (However, people are still coming in, and she looks courteous talking to locals as I look at her from outside the shop). I don't mind what her issue was but Hey! Let us not ruin anybody's fun time.
Good thing was... the...
Read moreI was in this cafe on Tuesday last week. I ordered my favorite matcha latte and a piece of banana bread. Unfortunately matcha latte was so concentrated (had an intensive dark green color) that it was impossible to drink. I went to barista to ask for more milk. But my cup was almost full, so It didn’t improve the taste that much. Barista said that next time I have to specify the amount of matcha spoons for my matcha latte. Don’t get me wrong. I drink matcha latte every week and all the time in Starbucks in different locations and I know how it has to taste. Additionally I was never asked for amount of matcha spoons. This sounds ridiculous as I also never mention to barista how many spoons of coffee I want and how many ml of sirup they have to put in coffee. So it was...
Read moreAll the positive reviews on here are extremely misleading. The coffee is, typical for Sh*tbucks: stupidly overpriced and mediocre at best. The food is even worse. The few times I’ve been here it was always the same. Very quiet and little foot traffic early in the morning and yet the place is absolutey filthy. Crumbs all over the floors and stained tables that need to be wiped. What are 3 people doing with their time?! You can then imagine what state their machines are in. They probably don’t get cleaned very often when they should actually be cleaned every day. The staff are cold and look unmotivated/not bothered. Totally unacceptable. The place should be shut down. Proper coffee and food can be found elsewhere, not here. Only positive thing is...
