喬園海鮮料理餐廳 (Qiao Yuan Seafood Restaurant) in the scenic Beitou District offers a delightful blend of fresh seafood and homestyle Taiwanese dishes that cater to every palate. On my recent visit, I explored a variety of their offerings, and each dish told its own story of flavor and tradition.
The Braised Calamari was a highlight, showcasing tender rings of calamari perfectly cooked in a rich, savory sauce. The sauce was a harmonious blend of soy, garlic, and subtle spices, complementing the natural sweetness of the squid without overpowering it.
The Chicken with Scallion Sauce was a comforting dish that stood out for its simplicity and execution. The tender chicken pieces were coated in a light, aromatic scallion-infused sauce, adding a delightful freshness to the dish.
The Sautéed Beef was another winner, with juicy slices of beef stir-fried to perfection and paired with a savory sauce that had just the right amount of garlic and soy. The balance of flavors and textures made it a hearty and satisfying option.
For a taste of classic Taiwanese comfort food, the Bitter Melon with Scrambled Egg was a must-try. The slight bitterness of the melon was mellowed by the creamy, fluffy scrambled eggs, creating a balanced dish that felt both nourishing and delicious.
The Sautéed Thin Tofu was a subtle yet flavorful addition to the meal. Lightly seasoned and stir-fried with fresh vegetables, it provided a soft, delicate contrast to the bolder flavors on the table.
喬園海鮮料理餐廳 captures the essence of Taiwanese dining with its emphasis on fresh ingredients, well-executed dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you’re in the mood for seafood or a variety of traditional dishes, this Beitou gem is well worth a visit.

Read moreIt was our last day staying in Taiwan. After reading the reviews we decided to give this restaurant a try.. what a great decision we had made! The dishes are soooo tasty! I mean every single one of them! The restaurant was packed when we were there so we had to sit outdoors facing the street. But who cares! The dishes meet every expectation I have. They are warm, fresh and comforting. The plum tomatoes, sweet and sour fish, stewed pork intestine with blood pudding, water spinach with shrimp paste, fried rice...you name it... they all taste great! The price tag is fairly reasonable as well! I wish I I could have tried them sooner.. too bad we are leaving the next day... I hope this restaurant can keep delivering its quality. It is what we need in this...
Read moreThe place is very strategic, close to Beitou MRT station, the food here is also quite good especially the seafood. For me, a seafood lover, I recommend the deep fried prawns in pineapple sauce, it's so yummy and delicious, I would even order two portions of it. Other menu variations are also good such as various processed fish, vegetables, oysters and eggs mixed with sea urchin meat. In addition to the menu that you order in the book, there is also a free menu as an addition usually vegetables, oh yes here rice is free so please adjust it to your taste. The most important is the price not too expensive, we are 8 person with full menu just cost...
