We traveled to this area just for this free foot bath with its healing hot springs properties. It was exactly what was needed after a long day of walking. Got there only 30 minutes before they started draining the pools for the night but short soak was still revitalizing. Beware that you will likely sweat a bunch unless it’s cold outside. And “don’t forget to bring a towel”™️ to dry your feet. This park also has a clean bathroom, playground and classic exercise equipment for the Asian uncles and aunties.

A free for the public baths for the feet. There are three pools: hot, hotter, hottest. The middle one is the least hot, hence the biggest of the 3 pools. The hottest is the smallest of the 3. The temperature of the pool is listed at the front display. I went to the least hot and it was around 43°C. It was hard to first get into the pool as the temperature was a little too much for the feet. But after a while it was very comfortable. You couldn't and shouldn't stay too long. I'm not sure what's the longest you could stay before it becoming detrimental to you, but we gave it 15mins, and it felt like just the right...

This is a free public hot spring pool where you can dip your legs. I came here on a pretty hot and humid day, but after a long day of walking/cycling through Taipei, putting my feet into the hot water was a much needed break. I went around 4pm. The place had a lot of people but there were enough spaces to sit. There are three pools of varying temperatures. The coldest one was not operational when I visited. The other two were at 43 and 45 degrees Celsius.

Since this place is easily accessible from Taipei via the Tamsui-Xinyi MRT line, it’s a great place to come to for some...
