Qixing Park — Attraction in Taipei

Relatively easy to go due to the convinence of “xinbeitou MRT”. The place here is relatively colder than “ximending” (you can feel it once u come out of the MRT). There are also stronger winds which plays a part in the cold weather.

When we went there there is a mini bazaar with locals selling “artsy” handmade items such as notebooks, pins and dyed scarfs/shirts.

The park has relatively little thing to do except for a olden train that is parked there for people to take photo and a mini heritage building that talks about the heritage...

Very nice building at Xinbeitou. It's kind of Japanese type building. Don't forget to collect the stamps inside the Xinbeitou historic station, I think there were 03 stamps here. There was also a flea market in weekend with all pretty handmade stuffs, from leather shoes, cup holder to cotton clothes, cookies, perfume... I wanted to buy...

A peaceful green park great for walking, relaxing, and hanging out with neighbors. It has many big shady trees and an open meadow for dogs to meet or run around. The park is beautiful day and night...after dusk it faces the warming lights of the Xinbeitou MRT station and surrounding homes. Occasionally there are street...
