Guo's Chicken Rice — Restaurant in Chiayi

The chicken rice taste nice, sausage rice and soup taste not bad too. But this restaurant’s service extremely bad. I asked whether to take order at counter or just wait at table to take order, their waitress said “if you not order from counter, how are you going to eat” in very unmanner way. Later on, I went to counter to order, I told them what I want to order and they didn’t answer me, though they didn’t hear what I said, so I said second time. But in return they gave me an impatience and angry look and speak in taiwanese with another waitress said something bad. Too bad I understand Taiwanese too and understand what they said. After finished our dinner, I went to paid at counter and she said I only spend 150. I didn’t argue and speak any words to them. Just paid and go. But this is the worst experience I have in Taiwan restaurant. All other Taiwan restaurants I been to have very good services EXCEPT this restaurant.

I hope owner of this restaurant can improve their waitress services.

Few years ago, we had been try this famous restaurant in chiayi, but the memories wasn’t good......my mom ate a little stone in the soup, she guess they use it to clean the pig’s intestine, when we told this to the restaurant but they just ignore it. And now they “forgot” to give customer receipt(the receipt can help government to know how many tax the restaurant should pay), and not the first time forgot to give customers receipt ......so I don’t really suggest to go to...

Place was chaotic because you didn't know if you could choose any seat or it had to be assigned to you. After which there is no clear direction on whether to order at the counter or have you order taken by a staff at your table.

Food-wise, I had ordered the turkey rice at NTD45 which is bigger than another store. Unfortunately, although there was a lot of skin given, the rice itself was dry with very little scallion oil.

The scallion oil was also very light and did not have much taste. Food is normal at best and did...
