I lived in Silicon Valley for 20+ years and have eaten a lot of various Indian foods there from Northern to southern dishes. Since moving to Taiwan 2 years now I have eaten at various Indian restaurants and left unsatisfied. Until today’s meal… My wife and I and a friend tried this restaurant. Before ordering I asked politely if they could make every dish with normal spice level an Indian customer would eat and Not the slightly watered down level for traditional Taiwanese customers. They were happy to oblige because this meant the cuffs are off! Our waiter confirmed if we wanted traditional spice level? 100% yes!!! I went with our favorites that was on the menu like Tikka Masala, butter Chicken, spinach Paneer, garlic Nan and Stuffed Nan, yellow rice, curry fish, lamb kabobs and Tandori Chicken. The seasoning and spice levels and flavors was in ideal zone. I can tolerate spicer level but our friend could not. It wasn’t until after we were finished the meal that the owners said they could make off the menu dishes. I have to go back for Vindaloo!!! I recommend this place if anyone wants authentic Indian cuisine. Bust 685 stops right in front for those who use public transportation. The setting is great for a lunch or a nicer dinner. Staff is friendly and bathroom is clean! They also offer ice cubes for our water...

Went to Atithi Indian restaurant for lunch with wife and friends. Felt ecstatic to witness the spellbinding art of the chefs in creating those mouth watering concoctions of spices, vegetable and flavours. Feast for the tongue and delight for the taste buds, are the appropriately chosen descriptive tags for the delicacies served to us. Not only did it transcend the expectations, it is also hurdling the receptors to exercise acclimatization ability and consume the routine stuff. Such was the resonance between the taste buds and the food. Would love to retain this taste and keep it intact until the next time I visit Atithi Indian Restaurant.
Would be a sin if I don’t mention the warm hospitality of the owner. The owner exercised humbleness to the hilt. On the whole, everything...
Read moreOne of best restaurants where you will find authentic Indian food. I am visiting this place almost after several years. The menu is entirely new. We ordered dahi kabab as a starter. Next, we ordered Chilli Paneer with gravy and fried rice. Along with these we ordered paneer butter masala, butter naan, Tanduri roti and potato stuffed kulcha. The taste was awesome. Especially chilli paneer and fried rice took me back to home, reminded me the food that I used to have. We were sooooo happy that we totally forgot to take a photo 😊. We will visit again to try more food, especially the snacks section. The service was very good. Ambience is...
